Q. What are Lightroom presets?
A. Lightroom presets are one-click filters to make your photo look a certain way or style like Instagram filters, but in a much better quality. When we edit our images we change and adjust many different things to achieve our unique look. If we really like the outcome of a particular edit, we save that edit as a preset so that it can be applied to other images. This saves time and gives us a head start with future edits. The presets that we have for sale are the exact presets that we use ourselves when editing our photos for instagram.
Q. I'm new to Lightroom, can I still use your presets?
A. Absolutely! In fact, our presets are designed especially to help those with little editing knowledge to achieve a look similar to ours. We would have loved to have some good presets at the beginning to start with.
Q. Are your downloads instant? How do I receive them?
A. Yes, all of our downloads are instant. They are sent to you via email immediately after payment is completed.
Which currency do you use?
A. Everything in our store is in CHF. If you're purchasing in a different currency that's still ok, your bank will convert the CHF into your usual currency.
Q. What program do I need to use your presets?
A. Our desktop presets are designed for latest Lightroom Classic CC desktop version.
Q. If I buy a new computer or phone can I transfer my presets?
A. Once you receive your presets via email it’s a good idea to back them up on an external hard drive. You can do this by simply duplicating the zip folder then dragging it into the external hard drive folder. This way you have the presets stored safely forever.
Q. I don’t shoot RAW photos, will the presets still work?
A. Shooting in RAW is recommended when using our desktop presets as it gives you access to all of the data within the photo. With that said, our presets will still work on all JPEG images, which includes iPhone photos etc.
HOW TO IMPORT THE DESKTOP PRESETS TO LIGHTROOM
1. Open Lightroom and click on the Lightroom tab in the top left corner of the screen
2. Click Preferences
3. Click Presets
4. Click Show Lightroom presets folder...
5. Open the Camera Raw folder
6. Click Settings
7. Drag your Presets into the User Presets folder
8. Restart Lightroom
9. Highlight one of your photos in Lightroom and click on the Develop module (or 'D' for a shortcut) You'll see the Presets on the left.
MOBILE PRESETS
Q. What are Mobile Presets?
A. The mobile filters are instant presets that you can put over your pictures in Lightroom mobile to give them a refined and special look.
Q. Which app do I need to use your Mobile Presets?
A. The mobile presets are made for the free Lightroom CC app.
Q. Do the presets work on iPhone images?
A. Yes! They work with all picture formats.
Q. What is the difference between the mobile presets and the desktop presets?
A. Desktop presets are compatible with all image types, but they are primarily designed for RAW images taken on DSLR cameras and cannot be used on a phone. The mobile presets are designed especially for phone images and are designed to be used as presets for those who want to have a fast edit on their phones. The mobile presets won't work on the desktop Lightroom.
Q. How do I import the Mobile Presets?
A. You'll need an android or apple phone and the free Lightroom CC app. And a files app or another app to Unzip the files with (iZip for Iphone). The download of the files may needs some time.
When the files are downloaded open them in your Unzip app. Once the files are unzipped, open each individual file in Lightroom mobile CC.
The picture is now loaded into Lightroom mobile CC there you have to tap on the three dots on the top right corner and then create preset. Then you can name your preset and save it. Now you've successfully imported the preset and can use it.
